Our company, IZMIR Ship Recycling Co. was established in 1996 at Aliaga Ship Demolition Places and continues the activities in the 13th yard.
In the first time of incorporation, the company used to sale & purchase of the scrap and started to demolish the scrap vessels in its’ own foundation in 1998.
Our company has its’ own scrap vessel recycling area in the one of Turkey’s and the 3th biggest Recycling Industrial Area of the World. The company qualified to take ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Systems, ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems, OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems with the professional team being sensitive to environment & human.
We have 14000 m2outdoor area and 1000 m2 indoor area, with solid/liquid temporary waste storages where we employ 200 employees and 30 - 50 specialized technicians. With the modern and innovative mentality, we keep powerfull and ergonomic machines and equipment on our yard which has 80.000 m.t./year capacity. Izmir Ship Recycling Co.’s aim is to raise the bar in recycling.
